The world celebrates with Ireland with famous landmarks’ global greening for St Patrick’s Day

YESTERDAY saw some of the world’s most spectacular landmarks light up green in celebration of St Patrick’s Day.

All over the world, people shared in the festivities with spectacular images from all around the globe.

Tourism Ireland shared some of the global greening pictures from Europe and further afield.

    You forgot to show the Empire State Building in New York City. For decades it's been illuminated green on the night of March 17th. Also the fountain in front of the White House. The Chicago River is dyed green too.
