AHEAD of London’s much anticipated clash with Mayo in next Sunday’s Connacht Final, a host of the city’s Irish musicians have recorded a great version of London Calling to cheer on the Exiles.

Based around the The Clash’s punk classic, the new version entitled Londain Calling was written and performed by The Ginger Melodeon Experience.

More Sport:

The band are made up of Ronan McManus of The Biblecode Sundays as well as members of the Monday Club, Hungry Grass, The Reels and The Black Notes.

As final fever builds all this week, London fans have until tomorrow to grab their free London GAA poster in the current edition of Irish Post.

And they’ll also want to get their hands on Wednesday’s edition which will feature a comprehensive eight-page pull-out supplement with all the previews, interviews and pre-match coverage no fan will want to do without.
