Video: ESPN sports reporter in ‘Shane McLowry’ blooper

SHANE LOWRY may be flying high after Round 1 of The Masters, but it seems the Offaly native is still trying to make a name for himself in America.

So much so, that ESPN sports reporter Tom Rinaldi referred to the golfer as ‘Shane McLowry’, which was admirably shaken off by the 29-year-old, who is competing in the prestigious Major for the second time.

We’re sure Lowry secretly saw the funny side and won’t dwell on matter as he aims to build on his impressive opening round score of 68 when he tees off again at 3.54pm on Friday.
