Celtic Woman Méav to release The Calling in August

FOLK artist Méav is to release her fourth album The Calling on August 26.

A collaboration with Grammy award-winning producer Craig Leon, the 12-track album sees the Dublin-raised musician returns to her folk roots.

It will  sees Méav – who is a founding member of female supergroup Celtic Woman – build on the success of its predecessor, Celtic Journey, which debuted in the Billboard World Music top 10.

Leon, responsible for producing renowned records by Blondie and Pavarotti, produced and co-wrote the record which contains pop covers of both newly written songs and international folk classics.

The record will be released in Britain through Warner Music.
