Manchester Irish Festival announces Mayo Tourism competition

VISITORS to this year’s Mayo Tourism weekend during the 2013 Manchester Irish Festival which is being sponsored by will be offered the chance of winning a free holiday in ‘the best place to live in Ireland’.

The Mayo Tourism weekend runs from this Friday (March 8) until Sunday, March 10 and will feature a series of concerts and plays promoting the West of Ireland’s premier Irish musicians, dancers and singers.

Ireland’s award winning diaspora website has teamed up with the Manchester Irish Festival and the Western People to offer a chance to win a free holiday in County Mayo.

The competition is one of the highlights of the Mayo Tourism weekend in Manchester which is promoting the 170 gatherings that are taking place in Ireland this year.

The competition will include flights from Manchester to Ireland West Airport. It will also offer free accommodation in the  Mulranny Park Hotel.

To be in with a chance of winning the free holiday for two, email your name, contact telephone number and postal address to The competition will be drawn on St Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 17.

Alternatively, visitors can fill in a competition card at any one of the Mayo weekend events taking place from March 8 to 10.
