Love/ Hate to be broadcast in Britain

lovehate-n

MEGA-HIT Irish drama Love/Hate will come to British screens this year.

Following successful exporting of the critically acclaimed RTÉ show to Australia, New Zealand and Asia, it has been acquired by Channel 5.

More Entertainment:

The purchase of Love/Hate is the first move by entertainment guru Ben Frow, director of programmes for Channel 5, since he moved to the British broadcaster from Ireland’s TV3 late last year.

The drama, hailed by critics as the greatest ever produced by RTÉ, follows the gritty lifestyles of a Dublin-based criminal gang and has attracted record audiences since first airing in 2010.

The final episode of its third season, which aired on December 16, attracted an average of 953,000 viewers.
