DJ LISA Lashes, known as the world’s No 1 female DJ, took Nuneaton by storm as she returned to her one-time hometown to headline at a huge urban arts festival in the towns central Riversley Park.
Following the afternoon gig in Nuneaton Lisa then setoff to hot-foot it to the airport and put on a gig at O’Grady’s Club Mission in Newcastle West, Limerick in the evening.
The international disc-spinning superstar topped the bill at the outdoor concert which was organised by Nuneaton’s Urban Arts Clinic.
The Arts festival gave an outlet to the talents of the town’s young people through music, dance, street art, performance and fashion.
The lineup for the Urban Arts Festival showcased a range of local talent and included acts from Kelly’s school of dance, Kiya Shannon, Academy Dancers as well as a range of local DJ, MC and music talent.
No stranger to Ireland’s club scene, the one-time Coventry and Nuneaton girl, Lisa is the ultimate proof that anything is possible.
Lisa has brought her unique electronic dance music style to Ireland on a number of occasions and has played at the Button Factory and Sinn nightclubs in Dublin, and Shortts Live Music Venue Waterford.
Further afield Lisa has toured the world playing, Jamaica, New York, Las Vegas, China and venues across Europe.
Following the gig in Limerick Lisa can next be seen in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
