FARMER’s daughter Sarah Kennedy is tonight vying to become Britain and Ireland’s next top model (BINTM).

The Donegal 22-year-old is one of three finalists in the final episode of the popular Sky Living series.

All three are aiming to take the modeling world by storm.

More Entertainment:

“To be in the final of BINTM was one of the most unbelievable feelings I have ever felt.  It was a feeling of sheer shock and unforgettable happiness,” Kennedy said.

The final three – including Lauren Lambert and Emma Ward – will face the experienced judging panel of Dannii Minogue, Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford for one last time when they battle it out to be crowned the winner.

There have been plenty of extravagant photoshoots over the past 12 weeks, but the Irish native selects the nude shoot as her favourite.

She said: “I loved pretty much all the shoots, especially the nude shoot.  Dannii Minogue was on set that day too and she just made me feel so relaxed. I didn’t think about the fact I was nude.”

Although she has delivered some beautiful photos and enjoyed some unforgettable experiences, including shooting the Cover Drive music video in Barbados, the competition has been challenging for the young model.

“The hardest part of the competition for me was being away from my family and my boyfriend. I’m used to seeing and talking to them all the time.

“We got three-minute phone calls, twice a week. I missed telling them about my day, every day. I have a small but very close family.”

Ms Kennedy still lives on her parents’ farm in Portnoo and works part-time as a house keeper in a local hotel whilst studying business management.

This competition is not her first experience of modelling, she has been signed to an agency in Derry for a year and was crowned Miss Donegal last year.

Tonight’s episode will award the BINTM crown to one of the three finalists that remain from the original 14 contestants.

The final of BINTM airs this evening at 9pm on Sky Living.
