Hozier’s hit Take me to Church sounds incredible sung in the Irish language

IT WAS the single that made Irishman Hozier an international star and it has been covered many times since, but this version by a group of Irish teenagers singing as Gaeilge (in Irish) is worth a listen.

Released in 2013, the haunting Take me to Church went on to top the charts in 12 countries, and also reached the top 10 in 21 other territories.

In the US, it spent 23 consecutive weeks at the top of the charts and was nominated for a Grammy.

Press play above and tell us what you think of hearing it sung in Irish

Amazing? Good-decent, use your vocabulary properly, this sounds like a children's pop song remix.
