The song aims to highlight the effects of bullying on children

TWO Cork women have recorded an emotional song to help tackle the problem of bullying amongst children.

Claire Hayden composed the song along with 15-year-old student Becky Phillips – both from Bantry – to raise awareness of the serious effects of bullying.

Since being posted online a fortnight ago the song has been viewed almost 7,000 times on YouTube.

More Life & Style:

The lyrics describe the story of a young girl suffering from the effects of bullying, and her trouble in calling upon her mother for help.

The women aim to share their song with a charity who would be able to use it to raise money for worthwhile causes.
