British reaction to Love/Hate positive

IRISH crime drama Love/Hate debuted on English television last night with reaction to the show proving positive on Twitter.

Many had kind words for the show, the first season of which is being aired by Channel 5 on Wednesday nights at 10pm.

More Entertainment:

The show also received glowing praise from British broadsheet The Guardian, with TV critic Mark Lawson likening the show to popular HBO series, The Wire.

However, some British viewers have found it difficult to understand the Dublin accents of Robert Sheehan, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Aiden Gillen.
