HOLLYWOOD A-lister Ben Affleck has cited Conor McGregor as an influence for his revamped portrayal of Batman in his latest film.
Affleck plays the superhero in the new ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, which is released on March 25 and features multiple fight scenes.
Despite his recent shock loss to Nate Diaz, Dubliner McGregor remains the biggest star in MMA, which has made him a household name in America.
And his impact in the States has even stretched to the big screen, with Affleck telling Reuters to expect a McGregor style Batman when they see the show.
“He’s a bit more of a brawler, more physical,” he said of the current Batman. “You get a feeling of a physical, visceral, slugger thing.
“The fights are a little more like smash-mouth, UFC-influenced, Conor McGregor style.”
